Service Description
The 6 lesson package is designed to cover everything from the basic foundation of surfing to intermediate-level training. The instructor introduces you to techniques that advance your skills with each session. This provides the option of surfing at a new beach each session so you can explore the entire Los Angeles coastline. You will learn how tides work, the topography of the San Diego coastline, safety, popping-up, how to paddle past and into oncoming waves, the basics of turning, how to ride the smooth 'face' of the waves, how to tell what makes a good wave for riding, and how to drop-into and ride waves without an instructor. This package includes a wetsuit and surfboard rental and a professional instructor that will stay at your side the entire time you are in the water. We encourage clients to use the same instructor for each lesson.
